A guided route

From a difficult advert to a clear application plan.

Sift Assist breaks the process into manageable steps and keeps your completed work together as you go.

  1. Build a reusable profile

Add paid work and wider experience such as caring, volunteering, education, clubs or personal projects. Good examples do not have to come from a formal office job.

  2. Add the vacancy

Paste the advert. The service identifies the grade and separates written sift requirements from interview requirements. Every extracted detail is shown for you to review before anything continues.

  3. Make your experience clear

Check the quoted credit cost, then work through one section at a time. Plain-English questions help you choose an example and draw out your decisions, actions and results. Short sentences and bullet points are fine.

  4. Read, add the detail and refine

You receive a complete first draft. An included review highlights what works and where more detail would help. Answer a few focused questions, add any other comments, and create your refined final answer. Both versions stay saved so you can compare them.

  5. Prepare interview answers

If the vacancy lists behaviours for interview, your workspace adds a guided interview builder alongside your written sections. The same guided approach applies, but answers aim for a natural three-to-five-minute speaking range rather than a word count.

  6. Keep everything together

Return to saved applications, review each section and privately record the outcome and any feedback.
